BrickLink is an online commerce site to facilitate buying and selling parts, sets, and other LEGO related items among thousands of buyers and sellers. It supports both straight sale and auctions, and currently has well over a thousand registered sellers and millions of individual lots for sale.
BrickLink was founded and operated by the late Dan Jezek.
Name Controversies
When the site first opened it was called BrickBay but eventually online auction house eBay objected1 to the name and it was changed in 2002.
In early 2008 The LEGO Company asked2 sellers on the Bricklink system to remove the word LEGO from their store names.
