Clip and Rod is a type of Rod System connection. The connection is realised when a brick with a clip is clipped onto a rod system rod. The connection is a friction grip, and allows rotation of the clip around the rod within the limits of whatever clearances are imposed by the surrounding part geometry, allowing for positioning of things at whatever angle desired.
Some examples of this connection include the Plate 1 x 1 with Clip Vertical clipped onto a rod system rod (such as the Tile 1 x 2 with Handle, or any of the rod system railings).
Note that 3 LDU tubing is the same dimension as rod system rods.
Note:This is a Connection System article and should be illustrated with pictures or renderings of the connection type, details, and should give dimensions in LDU of the key parts of the connection where that makes sense.
Connection System articles use the ConnectionTypeBox template, comments welcomed on whether all the necessary information is there, see its talk page for more usage info or to comment.
