New in sealed box

New in sealed box (usually only seen as the acronym NISB) is a term to describe the condition of a LEGO set for sale or trade. It is often used interchangeably with the description MISB (Mint In Sealed Box). The terms mint and new however can mean different things to different collectors so the new usage is recommended for items that have even minimal shelf-wear.
