System

The LEGO System typically refers to sets that feature models scaled to minifig sizes or using basic brick. It encompasses a wide range of themes, including Space, Town and Castle. It is not generally used to refer to such non-minifig lines as DUPLO, Technic or Bionicle.

System is generally what people are referring to when they say "Oh yes, I have some Legos".
