List of GBC collaborations
That list is seriously out of date, but it may be hopeless to try to keep it updated, as it seems that just about every LEGO convention has one of these (for example BrickWorld 2012 had one, BrickFair 2012 had one, and I am pretty sure that BrickWorld Fort Wayne 2012 will have a smaller one too). Maybe the thing to do is convert it into a list of "significant" ones... like the first, the then current record holder, and so forth? That might not go stale so fast. Adding the mechanism list really adds value to the article though!!! ++Lar: t/c 23:06, 2 September 2012 (CDT)
- Good suggestion. I never really intended for it to be a complete list, but I see now that the heading is misleading.--ALITTLESlow: t/c 18:04, 3 September 2012 (CDT)
GBC knowledge base and index
At the GBC Roundtable at Brickworld Chicago, there was some discussion of creating a knowledge base for GBC. Seems like a good fit for a wiki. The question I have is whether that much detail is something within the scope of Brickwiki? On the big wiki it would be like a project.
A second request was for a GBC forum. In our current instantiation, Brickwiki doesn't seem a good place for that. [Eurobricks's Technic forum] is the best place I've found so far. Thoughts?
Third, on the aforementioned Eurobricks forum there was a stab at index of GBC modules, but a forum isn't a good place for that. A wiki would, except that it would smell somewhat of a MOC bin, or could ripen that way. It could work as a category like "GBC module", with each page featuring the module's halotype plus interesting variations. It would take policing to keep frivolous entries out. What do y'all think? - Here would be a good fit for a GBC knowledgebase. Not sure if it's the right place for an index, but I think it would be worth trying - I think that (almost) anything is worth trying to encourage participation here (though not a forum!). Claude Bombarde 14:02, 19 July 2014 (UTC)
